Lou and his wife Sylvia have been married for 46 years, and that in itself shows that he is a man of depth and character, and his artistry is a deep part of his being and what makes him a so special. His sculpture especially is so beautiful and captures the movement of the animal in a way few ever achieve.
He has been a licensed taxidermist for over 30 years. His specialty is the whitetail deer. In 2001, Lou retired from full time taxidermy and now he enjoys his days hunting, hiking, and biking. He still loves to Judge, give seminars and teach classes.
